This winter we went 5 days and made about a 1040 miles on our big trip
First picture was just past V-Bay. Light drizzle till now. Then it started to rain, hard. That Lasted till north of Kenora before it turned to drizzle again.
Later in the day we where back to a drizzle
Nopoming Lodge time to dry off. Nice home like atmosphere. Satellite TV and full kitchen plus a hot tub!
Nice morning no rain yet just a bit of a drizzle.
Lac Du Bonnet! Light rain but lots of fog. Lost Andy and Dale today!
Slush! Lots of it on all lakes. Track is spinning all the time looking for traction.
No more rain temps are dropping a bit. Trails are real soft and a bear to ride on. Skies sink in deep on the corners. When walking on the trail you sink up to 6 inches in places.
Rainy Lake was foggy and rough with little snow. Hard to see the big drifts with the fog hanging in the air.
Nice creek full of water from all the melting and rain.
Fresh snow and colder temps on our last day. Little bit of logging to clear the trail.
Nice waterfall by Atikokan. Trails are firmed up but if you drop a ski off turning around getting back on to them is a two man op! Sorry Randy!
